What is MPA GYN?
MPA GYN contains the active ingredient mercoxyprogesterone acetate (MPA), a synthetic gestagen which is used to shift menstruation and to treat various cycle disorders. It can reliably delay the period, for example on holiday, sports events or other occasions.
Medroxyprogesterone acetate has been established in gynecology for decades and is also used in endometriosis, dysfunctional bleeding and as part of hormone replacement therapy.
