What is acenaline?
Acnatac is a prescription combination gel for the topical treatment of medium-heavy inflammatory acne (acne with papules and pustules). It contains two proven active ingredients: the retinoid tretinoin and the antibiotic clindamycin.
The combination of a retinoid with an antibiotic enables effective treatment of both the comedogenic and the inflammatory component of the acne. In addition, the tretinoin reduces the development of antibiotic resistances.
Acnatac is used once a day.
